Walter Meisenbacher III was killed on Route 18 on August 22, 2008. He was hit from the rear by a car on his way to work. Walter will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Walter was a long time member of the Polar Bear Grand Tour and Jersey Shore H.O.G.

Walter Meisenbacher III, 54, of Brick, died August 22, 2008 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Born in Point Pleasant, NJ, he resided most of his life in Brick, where he graduated from Brick High School. He was a valued 25-year member of the Oasis Ford Family, working as a senior master technician. He enjoyed instructing in karate as a third-degree black belt, bowling on Monday nights, and touring with friends and family on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He was predeceased by his parents, Walter Meisenbacher Jr. and Ruth Mayer. Surviving are his wife, Dawn Meisenbacher; a daughter, Melissa Meisenbacher; a son, Walter Meisenbacher IV; stepsons, Steven and Robert Kondos; a sister, Sharon Hart; and a good friend, Robert Potter; granddaughters, Sierra and Alexa Meisenbacher; loving nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and their husbands. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all those fortunate to have made memories with him.
